Horizontal Design

This style of Bamboo is characteristic of traditional hardwood. It is assembled by cutting the bamboo stock to expose the variations in the stock's appearance.


Vertical Design

This style of Bamboo has a more random pattern. Some consider the vertical pattern to be more "busy" than the traditional look. It has a scattered pinstripe appearance. In larger, more open areas, this smaller patterns fits in well.


The cost of Bamboo has decreased substantially in the United States. As the prices continue to decrease, Bamboo is becoming more and more affordable. In some cases, Bamboo can be even less expensive than hardwood!
